The CGRC Annual Invert race was held at the Cottage Grove R/C Raceway, Oregon this past weekend. The A1 grid order starts based on qualifying order, A2 grid order is inverted, and the combined A1 and A2 points decide the A3 starting order. The two best results of three decide final results. In 2wd pro stock Joel Lee took the TQ and win the A1 final. At the lap 3 in A2 Joel have a technical issue and he had to retire but A3 was a same race as A1 and he took the win from Terry Shulz in second and Loren Smith in third.
In 4WD 13.5, A1 started out ok but a mechanical failure caused a DNF for Joel. Since he took last place in A1 he got to start inverted therefore in first position. In A2, he managed to pull out and stay ahead for the entire race. In A3 Joel follow the leader until he bobbled. Joel managed to navigate the crash and ran on cruise control from there until the end. Dave Devoe in second and Terry Shulz in third rounded out the top 3.
